It was early in the morning when team Taka left for a new mission. They had to go back to one of Orishimaru's hideouts, to steal one of his secret scrolls and deliver them to Madara. They had a long way to go.
"Now is my chance! Now I can spend time together with Sasuke again! During that time I'll make sure that he'll fall in love with me.", Karin though to herself and begun to unbutton her shirt to pull out her boobs and make sure Sasuke would notice them. She stopped in front of him and begun to flirt with him.
"Sasuke-kun, you look so tired. Why don't we take a little break and take a refreshing bath in this lake together." Quick Suigetsu interfered in the conversation.
"Yeah she's right! I'd like to take a break too and drink something. It's so hot today." Karin banged his head angrily and screamed to him.
"Bakka! No one was talking to you so go back to your corner!" Sasuke, unimpressed like always, walked away.
"We don't have time for breaks. We have a long way to go and we must arrive to the next village to find a place to stay for the night, before the sun goes down.", he said with a flat voice. Karin was disappointed about this and let her anger out on Suigetsu.
"Why are you always interfering in every conversation? Don't you have an own life you low-life piece dipshit?"
"Well at least I'm not trying to seduce someone and acting all like a wh-" before Suigetsu could finish his sentence, Karin punched his face and he fell on the floor.
"Don't you dare calling me names again!!", she screamed at him. Suigetsu stood up and smirked to her.
"Heh. You're not only an annoying bitch, you're a quick one too!" And with that sentence Karin kicked him between his legs and he fell again on the floor, squirming from pain.
"What a pathetic idiot…", she said and went back to Sasuke. Juugo facepalmed and shook his head.
"Why are you always getting in those situations? Why are you always provoking her?", he asked him.
"Just shut the hell up, will ya?", Suigetsu replied glaring at him. At the end of the day, the sun goes down and team taka finally arrived to the nearest village.
"We're staying here for the night.", Sasuke declared."There are only rooms with 2 beds, so…" Karin took her chance.
"Sooo, why don't we share a room together, Sasuke-kun? It would be so fun if we were alone, just you and I. What do you think?"
"*cough*SLUT*cough*", Suigetsu commented.
Sasuke blocked Karin's flirt and ordered.
"Juugo, you come with me, Suigetsu you go with Karin." Suigetsu and Karin were shocked and screamed synchronous.
"What?? In a room? With her/him? No way!" Karin didn't accept the decision and tried to make him change his mind again. She took off her glasses and took a sexy pose.
"Sasuke-kun, maybe you didn't understand me. I'm sure we will enjoy our time together. I could massage your back and-"
"Karin, you're annoying me. Stop acting like an useless whore and concentrate yourself more for the mission!" Sasuke glared at her and walked away to his room. Karin was shocked and couldn't say anything. Suigetsu pushed it even further.
"You see? Even Sasuke is my opinion. You'll never get a chance with him when you still act like that." Tears were running down Karin's face. Juugo tried to make Suigetsu quit.
"Suigetsu, I think you should stop now, It's enough!"
"You senseless bastard! I HATE YOU!", Karin screamed to Suigetsu. "You don't even have the slightest idea what real love means, you piece of shit! I hate you!" She ran to her room crying. Juugo wanted to give Suigetsu a sermon about what he did.
"I warned you. Why are you always-"
"She said 'real love'. Why does she have such deep feelings for him? Why?", Suigetsu was wondering. Juugo looked at him surprised and finally realized what's wrong with him.
"Suigetsu, you…", he though to himself.
"Tsk, whatever. This is useless.", he said and walked away. They went in a pub and Suigetsu drank one bottle of Sake after another to forget what happened. Soon he was completely drunk. Juugo was worried and tried to make him stop.
"Suigetsu, I think you should stop drinking now…"
"Why? I'm not drunk yet, I'm fine. I try to forget what she said so leave me alone.", Suigetsu mumbled drunk.
"Why is it a big deal? She always insults you, all the time. Why are you so obsessed about it now?", Juugo asked confused.
"I always tried to break every bond between her and Sasuke. I just wanted her to notice me. She's always after this Sasuke. I could never get a chance with her if she really have some deep feelings for him, so I begun to tease and provoke her all the time, just to have some kind of bond even if it's made of hate. I never realized how much I hurted her all these years with that until now. I never wanted to cause her any sorrow nor pain."
"Why don't you just go and tell her?", Juugo proposed.
"Heh. Yeah, like I walk in her room and say 'I love you' and then we get married and live happy together for the rest of our lifes, just like that, right?", Suigetsu snorted. "She hates me now! She loves that bastard, even if he treats her like crap and breaks her heart! It's not fair." He tightened his fists while speaking.
"It's late, we should leave now.", Juugo proposed. They paid and left the pub together. Suigetsu was still completely drunk when he entered his room. Karin was still awake, sitting on the couch, crying. She yelld at him for coming late.
"Did you even see what time it is? It's past midnight! You should already be back you bakka!"
"Heh. You just sound like my mom.", he snickered. "And why are you still awake?"
"None of your business, drunkard!", she replied glaring at him.
"She's still crying for what happened? It must've hurt her deeply.", he though. He stared for a moment at Karin, thinking what he can do.
"What? What are you looking at, bastard?", she groaned.
"Nothing. I just noticed how cute you look when you're angry at me.", he replied with a big grin.
"Okay, now I know that you're definitively drunk! Go and get some sleep!"
"I'm not drunk! I'm fi-", Suigetsu stumbled over the carpet and landed on Karin's boobs.
"YOU CLUMSY DRUNKARD, GET OFF OF ME!!", she yelled and slapped him. "Can't you watch out where you're going?"
"Can't you watch out where I'm falling?", he asked competitively.
"Can't you stop drinking like a whole?", she joined the competition.
"Could you stop bitching around?", he begun to enjoy the argument with her, for some reason.
"Why are you such an idiot?", she asked right back.
"Why are you yelling? My ears are hurting already!"
"Why are you answering with a question?"
"Why do you have to chase after Sasuke instead of going out with me?" It was suddenly calm in the room. Karin stared at Suigetsu, shocked and confused about what he said. After a few seconds he finally realized what he just said and went pale.
"What?", Karin asked confused.
"Nothing. Forget what I said. I'm drunk.", he tried to find a pretext.
"Yeah you drank too much. Why would you love me? I'm just pathetic. Even Sasuke-kun hates me, so why would someone love me?", she sat down on the couch and tightened her fists to hold back her tears. Suigetsu couldn't bear seeing her in that state.
"You aren't pathetic!", he said. "You're opinionate and thick headed, but you're not pathetic."
"And you're still drunk…"
"Yeah, but not that much.", he replied quick. Karin was about to leave, but Suigetsu grabbed her wrist.
"Listen, I'm sorry for what I said earlier. You're not an annoying bitch…" Karin was still confused about the situation and pulled her hand back from him.
"Don't touch me! You have no idea what a broken heart means. You don't even know what real love means!", she yelled.
"If only I could say it to her. These three damned words.", he though to himself. She shook her head and went to her bedroom.
"Shit! Why didn't I say it? Shit! I'm such a loser!", he screamed in his head. "C'mon bastard, go in! C'mon, just do it!", he walked around the room and tried to motivate himself. He finally opened the door and entered. Karin was sitting in her bed, hugging her knees.
"Are you all right?", he asked worried.
"Do I look all right to you? The person I love the most in my life called me an useless whore, how do you think it feels like?", she replied depressed. Suigetsu sat next to her on her bed.
"If you don't like to be treated like a whore, then don't act like one.", he said. It was quiet in the room. Nobody said something for a while. Suddenly Karin broke the silence.
"If you hate me that much, then you can leave.", she said sighing. "I don't need another asshole like him, treating me like scum."
"I don't hate you!", he replied quick.
"Then why are you mocking my feelings all the time?"
"Well, It's the only way I can make you notice me, since you're so focused on this Uchiha guy…", he answered frustrated. Karin was surprised. She couldn't believe what she just heard.
"Actually, I never meant to cause you any sorrow. I never wanted to see you cry. You were always ignoring me all the time since the first time we met. I only wanted to be a part of your life and make you perceive me. The only thing I ever wanted is to see you laughing.",he smirked.
She was astound and sorrowful. She just realized how much pain she caused him during all these years by ignoring and pushing him away from her. How much he suffered while seeing her trying to flirt and seduce Sasuke. How blind she was and how much she means for him.
"Suigetsu… I'm…", before she could finish her sentence, a pair of lips was pressed against hers. Her face burned red. She was surprised how soft and warm his lips were. Suigetsu wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed it against his body. This made her face blush even more, so much that she looked like a strawberry
"I have no idea how many bottles of Sake I drank, but sure thing is that I must be completely drunk right now to do this. I don't know if I could have done the same thing if I were sober... At least I finally did it!", he though to himself. After a while he broke up the kiss and pulled his lips from hers. He stared in those beautiful shiny red eyes, her pink soft lips, her long fire red hair. He couldn't stop gaze at her, which made her giggle and blush. She stroke Suigetsu's cheek and her came closer to his face.
"Before you start drooling over me, shall we proceed where we stopped?", she giggled and kissed him softly. Suigetsu had no objection so he kissed her back. Karin already forgot everything about Sasuke and enjoyed the moment with Suigetsu.
"I had my first kiss with Suigetsu. Who could've guessed, that would ever happen someday? And that I would actually ENJOY it!", Karin though. "At least I'm with someone who really loves me now."
